Please be advised that effective August 17, 2007 the State of NH has adopted the International Plumbing Code and the International Residential Code 2009 edition. Codes Books are now available through the International Code Council, www.iccsafe.org.
Licensing is now located at The NH Dept of Safety Headquarters, James Hayes Building, 33 Hazen Dr. Concord NH 03301.
Plumbers' Licensing Board meetings are open to the public and you are always welcome to attend. If you plan on attending, please contact the office in advance to confirm that the meeting will take place as scheduled (603-223-4289). All board meetings are held on the 3rd Wednesday of the month at 9:00 am at 98 Smokey Bear Blvd Concord NH 03301. Please join them!

Until the administrative rules regarding the 2-year license are adopted, all plumbing licenses must be renewed every year during your birthdate month.
Apprentice Information
HOW TO APPLY
Any individual who desires to be employed as an apprentice plumber in the State of New Hampshire must apply with the Plumbers' Licensing Board (271-3267). They will issue him/her a yellow identification card, which must be carried at all times and presented to an inspector upon request. Each year they will mail a renewal form at the beginning of his/her birth month, which must be completed and returned before the last day of the month. They will renew your I.D. card only if you are currently enrolled in the apprenticeship program (Labor Board & Dept. of Education). they will then mail an updated I.D. card.
